The Carmelite Community of the Word Golf
Tournament will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024
at the Scotch Valley Country Club, Hollidaysburg.
Registration begins at 7 a.m.; Golf begins at 8:30 a.m.
Cost: Foursome – $450.00; Individual Golfer – $150.00 Attend lunch/auction only – $20 per person. Fee includes a continental breakfast, snacks and drinks during your play, and lunch. Lunch will be catered by Villa Capri, an Altoona-based Italian restaurant that will be opening in Scotch Valley’s clubhouse this spring.
Registration Deadline is Wednesday, May 29th or when we reach 28 teams.

PRAYERS and BEST WISHES to the following young people of our parish who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Tuesday, April 2, at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona: Zachary Gonzales, Jalynn Partner & Gracie Rice. Please pray for these young adults that they may continue to grow in their relationship with Jesus and become the persons God intends them to be.

ANNUAL CATHOLIC CONFERENCE FOR WOMEN
The Annual Catholic Conference for Women will be held on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in State College. Johnnette Williams, speaker, author and EWTN Host will be the featured speaker. Mass will be held followed by the Conference from 9:00 AM till 4:00 P.M. Registration fee is $30 and includes a light breakfast and lunch. On Friday, February 16th there will be a free parish-wide talk from 7:00 PM till 8:00 PM in the Church following Stations of the Cross at 6:30 P.M. MEN’S CONFERENCE
Register today for the 2024 Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown STRENGTH IN CHRIST men’s conference on March 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Mount Aloysius College in Cresson. The theme is J2J: Journey to Jesus. Nationally recognized speaker and musician Cooper Ray will be the keynote presenter. Father Michael Pleva and Father Brian Norris will also share their incredible faith journeys. Also, a great panel discussion with six Catholic men from throughout the diocese sure to inspire guys on their faith journey. The day includes lunch and Mass at 5:00 p.m. with Bishop Mark. There is no cost. Seating is limited, so register before February 23 online at dioceseaj.org or pick up a hard copy registration form at any parish.
