SECOND GRADE CLASS

 

PARENT-CHILD RETREAT for First Eucharist – Sunday, March 30, from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the St. Joseph Parish Hall. *Please note time change.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION will be held on Saturday, May 3, at the 4:00 p.m. Mass.


A BONFIRE FOR THE JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS will be held today, April 27, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. In front of the Church rectory. Please remember to bring your own beverage and the item you volunteered to bring. This will be the last CLASS for this year; however, we want all Junior High and High Students to attend and participate in the May Crowning, next Sunday, May 4th at the 9:00 a.m. Mass. Please remember to bring a flower to present to the blessed Mother image and to wear dress clothes. The Junior High and High School students will assist with collecting the flowers from the grade school students and placing them in the vases provided. All students should sit together on the left side of the church in front of the Ambo, in the pews reserved for them.


MAY CROWNING – NEXT SUNDAY, MAY 4TH AT THE 9:00 A.M. MASS – Next Sunday, we will have our annual May Crowning with the newly Confirmed students crowning the Blessed Mother and the Jr. High and High School students arranging the flowers.  All students are encouraged to bring either a small bouquet or a single flower to present to the Blessed Mother.  Any child or adult is welcome to come forward at the appropriate time to offer flowers to her image. We will have extra flowers if you forget to bring them.


PARENT-STUDENT MEETING IN PREPARATION FOR CONFIRMATION NEXT YEAR – A meeting of 8th, 9th, 10th grade students (this year) with their parents will be held after the 9:00 a.m. . Mass on SUNDAY, May 18, from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m., in the Church, to introduce the new Confirmation process which will occur in our Diocese this fall.
